Who i am

THE VISIONARY: ARTHUR IFIJE

I am a Nurse, Data analyst, AI Expert, Writer, Content ​creator, reader, visionary, Humanist, Investor, AI Expe​rt who is passionate about personal develop​ment and career aspirations. I am the CEO of The Roy​al Generations Entreprises. I was born in the coastal​ city of Lagos in Nigeria. I had my primary and seconda​ry education in Local Government Primary School ​and Larb College respectively; all in the town of Idim​u, Lagos. My growing up was fun as I had a lot of chil​dhood friends and I also participated in football as a sp​ort. I am still a football fan till today: I am an Arsenal​. Come on you gunners!

MY HERITAGE AND ROOTS

I am from Iuleha, Edo State but was born in Lagos, ​Nigeria. I speak Owan and Yoruba languages fluently. I ​remember those years with nostalgia when I played ​football going from one football field to another. Basking ​with the dream to become the next football star like Jay ​Jay Okocha. I grew up in the coastal outskirts of Lagos ​in Alimosho Local Government Area where I honed my ​football and sports skills while I was also taking laurels in ​school as a whizkid who loved reading books ranging ​from literatures to philosophy and science. I was ​fascinated with history, culture and current affairs. I still ​do. My mum and my dad (Doris and Roland) and all of ​my siblings had great impact on me growing into the ​humanist I am today. Every human is treated as an ​human no matter their position, financial status and ​race.

FAMILY STORIES AND TRADITIONS

The Ifije Family is a family with an history of making impact to the society by serving and ​making use of our comparative advantages for the good of all. We were always made to know ​that qualities like honesty, humility, kindness, contentment, respect, diligence, ambition and ​putting God first in all we do are non- negotiable qualities we should strive to live by all the ​time. These qualities were drummed into our souls and being every now and then.

The family’s love for education and progress stems from the fact that we have a father (Mr ​Roland) whose love for education and greatness is undebatable. He started buying books, ​jerseys and newspapers for me and this kindle my journey to achieve greatness and become a ​great human.

Christmas days were a special tradition, where we go visiting uncles and aunties. We ate lot of ​delicacies specially prepared by mum (Mrs Doris) .I always enjoyed having the head of the ​chicken. Smile.

I always pitied the chickens when they were being slaughtered but how fast I forgot those ​emotions immediately the food becomes ready. These were the moments I have come to ​treasure as an adult. Moments like sibling squabbles with my broythers and sisters, now we ​remember those times with laughter.

Stories of me sleepwalking and being looked for still makes for a good laugh. ​Inspirational was mum being a Sunday school teacher at the church and always ​teaching us to pray to God for things we wanted. She was always praying for us to ​become great and succesful in life.

PERSONAL JOURNEY AND MILESTONES

My personal journey has been a great one, being that it has been a story of ​facing several struggles, not giving up, being resilient until victory is ​ascertained.I started reading words in writing only after the age of seven.My ​younger sister started reading before me, I somehow found my own unique ​way of learning to read words by splitting them into sounds until it made sense ​to me and then proceeded to master harder words and then sentences. My ​new found ability to read started a new found hobby and passion: READING ​ANYTHING READABLE.

I read from words on pieces of papers on the floor, billboards, newspapers, ​Bible, dictionary, storybooks, textbooks. And I just could’t stop again!

I finished reading all the books I could lay my eyes on in the house of Mr and ​Mrs Ifije and proceeded to using my pocket money to buy books like Oliver ​Twist, Animal Farm, Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Richest man in Babylon, Sizwe Bansi ​is dead, Things fall apart and so many more. Within short time, I have move to ​become the best pupil from being someone that was struggling to read.

I then continue being the topmost student till I finished my secondary ​school, winning several awards. I went on to study Nursing at the School ​of Nursing Bida. I have been a Registered Nurse since 2016, helping ​patients to recover their health. I am an ALX Africa Fellow who adept at ​Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics. I have attended several ​seminars and conferences. I met my wife Agnes in 2020 who is also a ​nurse and we share many other things in common. We relocated to the ​United Kingdom in 2023.

I am currently working as a Staff Nurse on the Stroke Unit at The Royal ​Wolverhampton NHS Trust. I am also a Data analyst, Writer, Humanist, ​Investor and still an avid reader.

LOOKING FORWARD: MY FUTURE ASPIRATIONS

To keep developing myself as a ​person in Nursing and Tech and ​then integrate them together. I ​want to grow my sphere of ​impact. Get more education and ​reach the top of my career. ​Become wealthy by monetizing ​my skills and also build a great ​family that will be raised on ​principles of love, kindness, ​diligence, humility and ambition.
